Conclusion of a US-Qatari military exercise
The Directorate of Moral Guidance in the Qatari Ministry of Defense announced the conclusion of the US defense exercise in Qatar under the name of "Nafni, Qatar remains and Tamim" in the field of Qallayil in the presence of the Minister of State for Defense Khaled bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah.
The exercise was carried out by three special units, the Joint Special Forces, represented by the Special Mobile Force, Special Operations and Private Navy, in conjunction with the Qatari Emiri Air Force represented by the Transport Wing, the Squadron and the US Special Forces to achieve the principle of joint action.
The meeting was attended by the Commander of the Joint Special Forces, Brig. Gen. Hamad Abdullah Al-Futtais Al-Marri, who was listed on the list of terrorism of the siege countries. He was also honored by the Qatari Minister of State for Defense Affairs. He was also attended by the representative of the US Embassy, Brigadier General David Barr and a number of senior officers of the Qatari and American armed forces.
On Friday, exercises between the Qatari and US navies ended after several exercises with artillery, naval missiles, logistics and medical evacuation.
Qatar announced last Wednesday that it had signed an agreement to buy US F-15 fighters at an initial cost of $ 12 billion.
